Taking Care Of Your English Cocker Spaniel Puppy

Cocker Spaniel, Dog Health, New Puppy Advice
Gabe is Michelle and Mike’s youngest dog, and he’s having a tough time teething. In this piece, Michelle passes on some of her tips on caring for your English Cocker Spaniel puppy, including during teething.

She begins by reminding us that very young puppies may not recognise their own names, so don’t be surprised if they don’t come when called. Michelle suggests beginning their training in voice commands with simple, clear and consistent commands.

Every puppy has its own preferences and issues, and at the time this video was filmed, Gabe had a particular obsession with eating paper and chewing slippers.

Teething can be a challenge for both puppy and owner, and Michelle shares some of the things that she’s found over the years to mitigate the process, including the use of cooled chamomile tea applied orally.

So to get an insight into how to help your puppy have the best quality of life possible, watch on.
