Celine Halioua is working with staff at Muttville Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco to recruit people to enroll their dogs in a study of two drugs that would extend dogs’ — and perhaps humans’ — healthy life spans. Halioua, founder and CEO of Loyal, is building on prior research on the genetic and cellular underpinnings of longevity, and she is seeking FDA approval for canine clinical trials.
