Indian Army assault dog ‘Zoom’ attacked terrorists during an operation in Kokernag in J&K. Zoom received 2 gunshot injuries during the mission. In spite of that, the canine continued his task and helped in neutralising 2 terrorists. Both terrorists were involved in terror activities including attack on civilians. The canine is under treatment at Army Veterinary Hospital Srinagar.
However, Zoom is stable after surgery but next 48 hours is critical
His fractured rear leg plastered and splinter injuries on his face treated. Zoom is under close observation of medical team at Army Hospital
