Real Housewives Star Is Devastated After 17-Year-Old Dog’s Death

Dog News

Ramona Singer was one of the biggest stars on the Real Housewives of New York City. Yet, one recurring character that viewers loved to see was her tiny dog named Coco. She often had Coco by her side while walking around town, and as the pup aged, she tagged along in a purse or stroller.

But sadly, Ramona and her family recently said goodbye to the beloved pup. Coco was 17 years old, and she had been with the family her whole life. So, as much as she’ll be missed, she had a long, fulfilling life. She will never be forgotten.

A Natural Star

Many people know Coco because of her occasional appearances on TV. Most of the time, she was a sweetheart who brought confidence to her humans, but like all dogs, she also got into trouble at times.

Coco’s death was first announced by Sonja Morgan, one of Ramona’s co-stars, in an Instagram story. Then, Ramona’s daughter, Avery Singer, posted an emotional tribute to the dog on her own Instagram page.

“To my Coco Baby who has been by my side for 17.5 years and all the milestones of my life that I can remember – I will treasure our memories forever and my heart is full knowing we had a one of a kind bond,” wrote Avery. “Words can’t describe my love for you. I am forever grateful for all of our special memories. I will miss bringing you around in your stroller, purse, and sitting with me at the table. I hope you will have unlimited parmesan cheese…we all love you so much.”

Along with her caption, Avery shared several photos of Coco, including some of her with the family. Some even show Avery as a little girl, cuddling Coco. In each photo, Coco seems very happy and loved.

Rest in Peace, Coco

It took a few days for Ramona to mention Coco’s death on her social media accounts, but it makes sense considering how hard it must be. Eventually, she gathered the courage and shared a beautiful tribute just like her daughter had.

“My heart is broken after the passing of my dear little Coco. Coco was in our lives for 17 years and was like another child to me. She was truly a family member & my sidekick on #RHONY,” wrote Ramona. “Coco brought so much joy to us over the years and will be incredibly missed. I love you so much Coco…your memory will always live on with us.”

Andy Cohen also shared a tribute to Coco on his show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. He shared his condolences and showed a montage of Coco’s moments on TV.

Rest in peace, Coco. You’ll be missed very much.
